José Manuel Pérez Ovejas is a leading name in the wine world, and wine is in his blood. The son and grandson of winegrowers, he has made a huge contribution to the sector, earning him respect and admiration on his own merits. Perez Ovejas was awarded with “2017 Wine-producer of the year” and “2018 Best Spanish Winemaker”. Born and raised among vineyards, José Manuel defines himself as a viticulturist, oenologist and maker of wines, which he puts his personal stamp on. His father Benjamín is an institution in Spanish viticulture, and is widely recognised for his valuable contribution to creating the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin.
